After further investigation it was reported that a second person was reported to have been shot at the Econo Lodge Inn & Suites incident. It was reported that a 32-year-old male checked himself into 400 Charter Boulevard, Coliseum Northside Hospital, Thursday evening with a gunshot wound to his arm.
Investigators interviewed the male and determined he was involved in the incident. The male identified as 32-year-old Timothy Brown was arrested and transported to the Bibb LEC where he is charged with Aggravated Assault. Brown does not have a bond at this time.

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigating a Shooting Incident In North Macon
Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 130 Holiday Drive, at the Econo Lodge Inn & Suites in reference to a call of a person shot just before 2:30 p.m., Thursday. While responding to the call deputies were informed that the male victim was transported to the Navicent Health Urgent Care Center located at 3400 Riverside Drive by personal vehicle.
It was later discovered that this vehicle was involved and damaged by gunfire during the incident. It was reported that the shooting occurred in the back parking lot of the Econo Lodge Inn & Suites and not at the Navicent Health Urgent Care Center. There was no incident at the Urgent Care Center, the victim was only transported to the facility.
It was reported that before the shooting occurred, there was an argument that quickly turned into the exchange of gunfire. Investigators are currently talking with possible witnesses and following up on information to determine exactly what occurred. It was reported that the male victim was shot once in his face, in the cheek area. The victim is listed in stable condition. Charges are pending further investigation of the incident.
