An arrest was made today in reference to the death of a 5 month old infant that occurred on April 20, 2015. Kaundre Orr, 24 years old, from Macon, was charged with murder and cruelty to children. Orr was arrested at 11:00AM this morning in Bibb County. The Magistrate Court Judge denied bond for Orr.
On April 20, 2015 Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call of an infant being unresponsive at 1055 Cypress Drive. It was reported that the mother, Kaundre Orr laid the infant down for a nap and she laid down in the room with the infant. When she got up approximately 10 minutes later, she found the infant unresponsive in the crib. The infant was taken by ambulance to the Navicent Health Center where he was later pronounced dead.
