Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators charged a male individual in connection with the death of 16-year-old Davaun Patton. The incident occurred on Friday night, near the parking lot of the Family Dollar, located on Rocky Creek Road.

Tyreon Tyrese Parks, age 17, from Macon, turned himself over to Investigators Monday afternoon at around 4:30p.m. After being interviewed about the incident, he was taken into custody.

Parks was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center and is currently being held without bond, for the charge of Murder.

Homicide Investigation on RockyCreek Road

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Homicide incident that occurred at 2584 Rocky Creek Road, Family Dollar, parking lot.

It was reported that there was an altercation between multiple subjects. During the physical altercation an unknown person pulled a gun and fired a shot.

The male victim was struck in the abdomen during the incident. He was transported to the Navicent Health Medical Center.

The victim, 16-year-old, Davaun Patton later died at Navicent. According to the Coroner’s Office, the next of kin has been notified.
