The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Gang Unit and U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force apprehended a suspect wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of 28-year-old Anthonio Dewayne McNeill. This incident occurred on April 10, 2024, at the Haven Inn Suites located at 107 Holiday Drive North.
During this investigation, Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigators identified 36-year-old Lakesia Renee Williams as a suspect in connection with the fatal shooting. Today just before 4:41 p.m. an arrest warrant was served. Williams was apprehended at the Economy Hotel located at 4295 Pio Nono Ave.
Williams was taken into custody and transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. She is charged with Murder and is currently being held without bond.

Death Investigation on Holiday Drive North
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a death that occurred at the Haven Inn and Suites located at 107 Holiday Drive North. The incident was called into the Macon-Bibb E-911 Center at 3:20 a.m., Wednesday.
Deputies responded to the scene in reference to a report of a person shot. When deputies arrived, they observed 28-year-old Anthonio Dewayne McNeill of Macon, suffering from gunshot wounds. Paramedics responded to the scene to treat the victim who would later succumb to his injuries. Deputy Coroner Richard Robinson pronounced McNeill deceased on the scene. According to Deputy Coroner Robinson, the next of kin has been notified.
Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigators are currently working to determine what led up to the shooting. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
