In a joint effort with investigators from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, Macon Regional Crimestoppers, and the U.S. Marshals Southeastern Regional Fugitive Task Force, an arrest was made in the homicide investigation of 67 year old Jimmy Lee Daniels of 967 Elder Street.
Phillip Lance Rozier Sr., 54 years old, of Macon was arrested without incident at a house located on Carroll Street at around 1:15pm Wednesday. A Crimestoppers tip lead to Rozier’s arrest.
Rozier was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center and booked on the charge of Murder. His bond has not been set.
