Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators issued an arrest warrant today for 40 year old Willis Deterra Roberts for the murder of 35-year-old Crystal Walker of Macon. Walker was found unresponsive by family members in her apartment at 1420 Gray Highway, Glenwood Village Apartments, on September 5, 2015, just after 9:20pm.

The Marshals Southeastern Regional Fugitive Task Force and Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators arrested Willis in the Fort Hill neighborhood in east Macon just before 5:30PM Tuesday afternoon, without incident. Willis was transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division where he was questioned. He was later transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center and booked on the murder charge. He has no bond set at this time.

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigates East Bibb Homicide

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the homicide of 35-year-old Crystal Walker of Macon. Walker was found unresponsive by family members in her apartment just after 9:20pm Saturday night. The apartment is located at 1420 Gray Highway, Glenwood Village Apartments.

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is also asking for the public’s assistance in locating 39-year-old Willis Deterra Roberts. Roberts is a person of interest in this case and investigators want to talk to him.  Roberts is described as a black male, 5 ’11 in height 190 pounds, brown eyes, low haircut, beard and goatee.  An autopsy is scheduled on Crystal Walker to determine the exact cause of death.

This incident is currently under investigation.
