Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrest an individual in connection with an Attempted Burglary.
On August 10, 2023, at 5:30 a.m., Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Deputies were dispatched to the 2800 block of Pierce Drive North in response to reports of a suspicious male at a residence, with a flashlight. It was reported that the suspicious male had cut the lock to a power box and shut off the lights to the residence. He then made several attempts to make entry into the residence through a window, and door. Deputies arrived on scene and apprehended the suspect. No one was harmed.
The suspect was identified as forty-one-year-old Erich Thomas Dugan, of Macon. Erich Dugan was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center where he faces charges of Criminal Attempt to Commit a Felony.
