The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a robbery by snatching that took place just after 10:00am. Monday morning at the Flowers Bakery Store located at 2267 Anthony Road. It was reported that a black male entered the business and approached the cash register. The suspect took his wallet from his pocket to purchase the items he placed on the store counter. When the cashier opened the cash register the suspect grabbed an undisclosed amount of money out of the cash register. The suspect fled the store in an unknown direction. Store employees recovered the wallet that was dropped by the suspect when he fled the store.
The suspect was identified as 49 year old Willie Frank Hall of Macon. A lookout was placed for Hall. Just after 1:00pm this afternoon Hall turned himself into fourth district patrol deputies. He was transported to the Bibb Law Enforcement Center where he was booked. No one was injured in the incident.
