The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office along with the U.S Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested 23-year-old Sade Troi Washington for the Robbery of the Mid-South Federal Credit Union, located at 3205 Hartley Bridge Road. The incident occurred at around 10:24 a.m.
It was reported that a masked suspect pulled into the “drive-thru” teller lane and handed the bank teller a note. The suspect demanded money on the written note. Once the suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash, they fled the scene.
The suspect fled the bank parking lot in a black vehicle with tinted windows and no tag displayed. The vehicle is possibly a four door Nissan Altima. The vehicle pulled out of the bank parking lot, onto Hartley Bridge Road, and headed towards Houston Road.
Moments later the suspect vehicle was spotted by investigators less than a mile away from the incident location on Houston Road. Washington was stopped by Bibb County investigators and taken into custody without incident, cash was recovered from Washington. Washington was transported to Investigations and then to Bibb County Law Enforcement Complex and is being held, without bond, for the charges of (3) counts of robbery by intimidation.
During this investigation it was found that Washington was also responsible for the robbery of Robins Financial Credit Union located at 4066 Hartley Bridge Road on April 6, 2019 and May 16, 2019 robbery of the Mid-South Federal Credit Union located at 3205 Hartley Bridge Road.
