Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators arrested 48 year old Clayton Gibson Jr., of Reynolds Georgia, late Tuesday night, November 24, 2015 in connection with the attempted armed robbery that occurred Monday at the Circle K convenience store, located at 2580 Riverside Drive. During the investigation, Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators obtained information that lead them to Gibson. He was staying at the Palm Tree Inn located at 2690 Riverside Drive. Gibson was taken to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigations Division and questioned about the incident. Gibson was charged with armed robbery and aggravated assault. Gibson was also charged with a probation violation. He is currently being held at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center without bond.
