Bibb County Sheriff‘s Office investigators arrested 44-year-old Donovan Jermaine Easley in connection to armed robbery and several theft by shoplifting incidents in Macon. The incidents  occurred in the month of September and October 2021.

It was reported that deputies arrested Easley on October 6, 2021, just after 3:00 p.m., after a brief vehicle pursuit. Easley was taken into custody on warrants for the armed robbery of Flowers Discount Bakery, located at 2267 Anthony Road that occurred on September 27, 2021. His other warrant was for a  theft by shoplifting at Murphy Oil ,located at 1402 Gray Highway, that occurred on September 6, 2021.

Easley was also identified by investigators as their suspect in several theft by shoplifting incidents where he used a white Nissan Murano to flee the scene.   Easley was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center and booked on charges of Robbery by Snatching, Armed Robbery, Aggravated Assault, twenty counts of Theft by Shoplifting , one count of Theft by Taking and one count of Theft by Taking Auto. Easley is being held without a bond at this time. 

After further investigation additional warrants were served on Easley on October 7, 2021 . Easley was also identified as the suspect in the robbery that occurred on October 6, 2021, at 10:30 a.m., on Tuesday morning located at 265 Tom Hill Sr. Blvd.

At this time additional charges are pending against Easley.
