Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators arrested 54 year old Chucky Dupree Wednesday afternoon at around 1:30PM in connection with the stabbing of 21 year old Kory Icard. Dupree was charged with aggravated assault.
During the investigation it was discovered that Dupree and Icard were at a gathering at 7321 Nowell Road South on Saturday night, January 16th. An argument started after a dog belonging to a resident at the home, snipped at Dupree’s wife, causing a small scratch. During the argument Dupree attacked Icard with a knife, stabbing him which resulted in Icard shooting Dupree. Icard is not being charged at this time.
Dupree was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center and booked on the charge of aggravated assault. He has a bond amount of $16.700.00.
