Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators arrested 21 year old Ieshia Etheridge this Saturday afternoon, January 23rd at around 1:30PM in connection with the stabbing of her husband 21 year old Michael Bridges. Etheridge was charged with aggravated assault.
During the investigation it was discovered that Etheridge and Bridges were at their home at the 900 block of Plant Street on Saturday evening. An argument started over money. During the argument Ieshia Etheridge attacked Michael Bridges with a screw driver, stabbing him multiple times. Bridges was transported to the Navicent Health to be treated for his injuries. The injuries were reported to be non-life threatening and he is listed in stable condition.
Ieshia Etheridge was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center and booked on the charge of aggravated assault (Family Violence). No bond has been set at this time.
