Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 30 year old Dominick Howell Sr. in reference to an Aggravated Assault incident that occurred at the intersection of Grenada Terrace and San Juan Avenue. just before 1:30p.m. Thursday evening. It was reported that Howell was involved in an argument with 17 year old Dequavia Pollard. It was reported Howell was at a home located on Villa Crest Avenue when Pollard confronted Howell and a altercation occurred. Howell attempted to leave the location in his vehicle when someone fired several shots into the vehicle. Howell fled the area but later returned to Houston Grocery Mart. It was reported that Howell then noticed Pollard walking down the street and fired several shots at him. Pollard was struck once in his right leg. Deputies arrived and Howell was taken into custody without incident. Pollard injuries are non-life threatening. No one else was injured in the incident.
