Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 20yr old Rashaad Treyvon Jones in reference to an Aggravated Assault incident that occurred in the parking lot of the Summit Apartments at 1187 Edna Place just after 10:45p.m. Thursday evening. It was reported that Teyanna Faith McCullen had gone to her child’s father’s house, 23yr old Benjamin Marselus Griggs, and while there had gotten into an altercation with his new girlfriend, 21yr old Brandi Cleveland, in the parking lot of the apartments. As McCullen was leaving in her vehicle, Jones fired multiple shots from a handgun at the vehicle striking McCullen in the right ankle. McCullen had two friends and their children in the vehicle when the incident happened. McCullen was the only person injured during the incident. McCullen was driven to the Navicent Health Medical Center and is listed in stable condition.
Jones was taken into custody at the apartment and is being charged with six counts of aggravated assault, theft by receiving stolen property (the firearm used was stolen), and possession of firearm during commission of a felony. He is being held without bond at this time in the Bibb County Jail.
