Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators arrested 24-year-old Keyontae Chevez Roberts in connection to the aggravated assault incident that occurred on New Clinton Road.
Witnesses stated that Roberts was one of the people firing shots during this incident. Roberts was booked into the Bibb County jail on two counts of aggravated assault. He is being held without bond at this time.
Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a second suspect. Investigators are looking for 20-year-old Charana Lashay Jordon of Macon. Jordon has warrants for Criminal Attempt to commit Murder and Aggravated Assault. It was reported that Jordon shot 17-year-old Shadaja Field during this incident.

Aggravated Assault Incident on New Clinton Road
The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault incident that was reported to have occurred outside a home in the 2200 block of New Clinton Road just before 1:00 p.m.
Upon arrival deputies were advised that two people were taken to the Coliseum Hospital by private vehicle for treatment. When deputies arrived at the hospital, they were advised that there was only one person shot. The victim is identified as 17-year-old Shadaja Field. She is listed in critical, but stable condition at this time.
It was reported that there was a fight between several subjects, and during the altercation firearms were presented and fired multiple times. No one else was injured during the incident.
Investigations are interviewing people that were present and involved in this incident. Further information will be released when it becomes available.
