The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit, along with members of the U.S. Marshals Southeastern Fugitive Task Force, served a narcotics search warrant at a residence that is located in the 700 block of Ash Street.

As members of the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office were executing the search warrant, an AR-15, a .45 caliber handgun , a quantity of ecstasy, and approximately 2.2  ounces of marijuana was recovered. Also, digital scales and packaging material for the illegal narcotics were also recovered.

A female individual, 36-year-old Callie Hamilton, was taken into custody for outstanding warrants and she was also charged in connection to the service of this narcotics search warrant.

Callie Hamilton is reported to be a First Offender and is not allowed to possess a firearm. Hamilton was taken to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center and charged with Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance, Purchase, Possession, Manufacture, Distribution, or Sale of Marijuana, Possession of a Firearm During Commission of or Attempt to Commit Certain Felonies, ( two counts) of Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon or Felony First Offender, and Failure to Appear- Felony. Hamilton also was charged with a Felony Probation Violation Warrant.

Hamilton does not have a bond at this time.
