On December 27, 2019, at approximately 4:00 p.m. 17-year-old Truvon Sharay Humphrey, of Macon, surrendered to Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies after being escorted to the Investigations office by his mother.

Humphrey was wanted in connection to two Robbery/Motor Vehicle Hijacking cases. On December 17, 2019, Humphrey approached a male subject, on Daffodil Street, and demanded his money and car keys, while brandishing a firearm. Humphrey then drove off with the vehicle and other personal items.

On December 24, 2019, at 2394 Vineville Avenue, Vineville Christian Towers, Humphrey approached a female subject as she was getting out of her car and demanded her purse and car keys. Humphrey left the area in the vehicle before deputies arrived.

Investigators were able to connect Humphrey to the Robberies and through contact with his mother, had him surrender to deputies without incident. Humphrey was taken to the Bibb County Jail and charged with one count Robbery, and two counts of Hijacking a Motor Vehicle. He is being held without bond at this time for the Robbery and Hijacking charges.
