Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested a Macon man at approximately 12:00 a.m. for the two Armed Robberies that happened at the CVS, 1390 Pio Nono Avenue and Dollar General, 888 Pierce Avenue on January 25, 2020. 

Investigators were able to identify the suspect as being 24-year-old Danny Galvez. Deputies located Galvez at his residence on Forest Avenue and took into custody without incident.

Galvez was taken to the Bibb County Jail and charged with two counts of Armed Robbery. He is being held without bond at this time.

Commercial Armed Robbery of Dollar General

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that took place at 9:21 p.m. at the Dollar General, located at 888 Pierce Avenue.  

It was reported that a male subject entered the store brandishing a firearm. He demanded money from the clerk. After getting an undisclosed amount of money he fled the store fled on foot. No one was injured during this incident.

It was determined that it was the same suspect that robbed the CVS at 1390 Pio Nono Avenue earlier this date.

Commercial Armed Robbery of CVS

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that took place at 6:08 p.m. at the CVS at 1390 Pio Nono Avenue. 

It was reported that a male entered the store brandishing a firearm. He demanded money from the clerk. The suspect fled the store after getting an undisclosed amount of money before deputies arrived. No one was injured during this incident. The suspect was described as a Latino male with a beard, approximately five foot nine inches tall, slender build, wearing dark clothing. Pictures of the suspect are attached.
