Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies along with the U.S. Marshals Office Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested a Macon man in connection to the Armed Robbery of the Flash Food at 4314 Pio Nono Avenue on August 29, 2021.

On August 30, 2021, at approximately 4:00 p.m. deputies along with the U.S. Marshals Office Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force received a tip that 46-year-old Jonathan Paul Wilson, of Macon, was at the L&W Sports Bar. Wilson was taken into custody without incident.

He was transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigations Office for questioning. Wilson was then transported to the Bibb County Jail and charged with Arm Robbery. He is being held without bond at this time.

Armed Robbery at Flash Food Gas Station  

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of an armed robbery that took place just after 10:30 p.m. at the Flash Food located at 4314 Pio Nono Avenue.  

It was reported that a white male subject entered the store demanding money. He was brandishing a large knife. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled. No one was injured during the incident. 

The suspect was wearing jeans with no shirt. Pictures of the suspect are attached to this release.
