The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery that took place in the parking lot of the Dollar Tree, located at 4357 Forsyth Road. It was reported that two clerks were leaving the closed store and got into a vehicle, when two masked suspects came from around the corner of the building. One of the suspects brandished a silver handgun as they both demanded money from the clerks. Once the suspects received an undisclosed amount of cash, they fled the parking lot on foot. No one was injured during this incident.
Both suspects were described as males. They were both wearing all black colored baggy clothes and both men had on masks. The suspects were approximately 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches in height and weighed around 200 lbs.
