The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of an armed robbery that took place just after 8:30P.M Tuesday, January 19th at 5955 Zebulon Road, the Walmart. Alen Vorhees, 63 years old, of Macon was walking to his vehicle when he was approached by two black males. The unknown males demanded money from him. When Vorhees stated he did not have any money the suspects demanded his car keys and drove off in his vehicle. Vorhees was not injured during the incident and his car was located through the On-Star system and recovered off Bloomfield Dr.
The suspects are described as being black males, unknown age, medium height and weight, with dark clothing. One of the suspects had a handgun.
