The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of an armed robbery that took place just before 3:00P.M Friday evening, at the Subway located at 4831 Ocmulgee East Blvd. It was reported that a black male entered the store demanding money. The Suspect was brandishing a handgun. After getting an undisclosed amount of money the suspect then fled the scene before Deputies arrived. The suspect was last seen headed towards Twiggs County on Ocmulgee East Blvd. No one was injured during the incident.
The suspect was wearing a black hoodie, gray sweat pants and clean shaven. He fled in a tan older model Mercury Grand Marquis.
