The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office arrested an individual in connection with an aggravated battery that took place in the 1200 block of Patterson Street. The incident was called into the Macon-Bibb 911 Center at around 6:18 a.m., Wednesday morning.

It was reported that an altercation between two intoxicated individuals took place outside of a residence that was located on Patterson Street. Several individuals live at the residence and two of the individuals got into a verbal altercation. The altercation was between a male and a female. The altercation progressed and became physical. During the incident, the male was pushed down and he hit his head on the ground. After the altercation ended, the male had to be assisted as he was taken back into the residence. The male began to have complaints of pain and became unresponsive. The Macon-Bibb 911 Center was contacted so that Law Enforcement and EMS could be dispatched to the scene.

The male was transported to the hospital by ambulance and is currently listed to be in critical condition. The name of the male will not be released at this time.

Bibb Sheriff’s investigators met with all of the residents of the home and identified 24-year-old Michaela Joy Rhodenhiser, as the female that was involved in the altercation with the male. After interviewing Rhodenhiser about the incident, she was taken into custody and transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center for the charge of Aggravated Battery. Rhodenhiser does not currently have a bond.
