The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an aggravated assault that took place outside of Club Status, located at 4740 Pionono Avenue, at around 12:55 a.m. Monday morning. It was reported that the victim, 20 year old Tkyemia Dashawn Watts and several others were told to leave the night club after fighting with others inside. While outside, a black male suspect approached Watts, knocking him to the ground, and then shooting him several times with a black semi- automatic pistol. Watts was struck in the legs and arms and his injuries are reported to be non- life threatening. No one else was injured during this incident. Watts was transported to the hospital where his is listed to be in stable condition.
The suspect is described as a black male. He was possibly wearing a black t-shirt, with a large design on the front and blue jeans. The suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
