The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault that took place at 575 Wyche Street, at around 3:09p.m. Wednesday afternoon. It was reported that 18 year old Eric Haynes was shot in the neck and in his left hand by unknown suspects.
Haynes was transported to the hospital and dropped off by some unknown males, according to the hospital staff. Haynes is listed to be in stable condition.
Investigators are also speaking with possible witnesses and collecting evidence to help determine what happened. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
