The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an aggravated assault that occurred on Martin Luther King Boulevard, near Cherry Street, at around 2:22a.m. Saturday morning. It was reported that 20 year old Dun Tae Juwuan Jackson of Macon was walking to a parking garage after leaving a downtown night club when he was shot twice in the left leg and once in the left shoulder. The suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction according to witness statements.

Jackson was transported to a local hospital where he is listed to be in stable condition.

 

Investigators learned that a second victim was shot from the Martin Luther King Blvd.  shooting incident.  Darien Askew in his 20’s, from Perry, stated that he was walking and heard several gun shots. He stated that he noticed that he had been struck by a stray bullet in the left arm. He got into his vehicle and drove himself to the Houston County Medical Center. Askew is listed to be in stable condition. No one else was injured during this incident.

 

The suspect is described as a short black male that was wearing all black clothing.
