Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators arrested, 29-year-old Durand Marcel Faulk, in connection to the Aggravated Assault incident resulting in one person dead, that occurred on November 27, 2020.
It was reported that Faulk was involved in an altercation that occurred at The Thirsty Turtle resulting in him being cut in the face. During this altercation it was reported that Faulk retrieved a gun and fired into the crowd.
Faulk was interviewed and then transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center and charged with Murder and four counts of Aggravated Assault.
This is an ongoing investigation. Investigators are continuing to speak with witnesses in an attempt to gather more information in reference to the events surrounding this incident. No further information into this case will be released until this case investigation is concluded.
