The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested a male during an aggravated assault that took place at the Qwik Trip, located at 1924 Forsyth Street. The incident occurred at around 7:30 p.m.
It was reported that Bibb County Sheriff’s Office patrol deputies responded to a call of shots fired in the area of the Qwik Trip store. A male individual was struck in the hand, by a bullet, and was transported to the hospital for treatment. He is listed in stable condition.
Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies and investigators also located an individual that was reported to be involved in the shooting incident. He was taken into custody and transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.
Tylon Reshaun Evans, age 20, is currently in custody, without bond, at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center, for the charge of Aggravated Assault.
The circumstances surrounding this incident are still under investigation.
