The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault incident that was reported to have occurred in the 1000 block of Thomas Place, at 11:38 am Friday morning.
Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the 1100 block of Edna Place after receiving a call that the victim ran to this location. Deputies made contact with a 16-year-old male suffering from a single gunshot wound. Paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victim to a medical facility for treatment. He is listed in stable condition. No one else was injured during the incident. The circumstances surrounding this incident are currently under investigation.
