The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault incident that occurred inside the 1000 block of Eisenhower Parkway.
The call came into the E-911 Center at 11:04 p.m. on April 8, 2024. It was reported that a person was discovered down inside of a commercial business located at 1090 Eisenhower Parkway Unit A. Deputies arrived on the scene and discovered a 57-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound. Paramedics arrived on the scene to treat the victim for his injury. He was transported to a medical facility for further treatment. According to medical Staff the victim is listed in critical but stable condition. No one else was injured during the incident.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
