The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault incident that was reported to have occurred at the intersection of Bloomfield Road at Chambers Road, just after 8:30 p.m., Sunday.
Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the scene and made contact with a male suffering from a gunshot wound. Paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victim to a medical facility for treatment. He is listed in critical but stable condition. No one else was injured during the incident. The circumstances surrounding this incident are currently under investigation. Additional information will be provided once it becomes available.
