The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault incident that was reported to have occurred at the 1200 block of Dewey St. at 1:07 p.m.
It was reported that there was an altercation between individuals. During the altercation, one individual was shot by gun fire.
The wounded male was transported to the Atrium Health Navicent for treatment of a gunshot wound. He is listed to be in critical condition.
Another male, involved in the shooting, fled the scene in an unknown direction.
No one else was reported injured during this incident.
