The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an early morning shooting incident. Deputies were called to the Navicent Health Center at around 4:24a.m., in reference to two men arriving at the emergency room with gunshot wounds. The two men were brought to the hospital by a friend.
The first victim, Antwaun Bernard Smith, age 31, from Macon was shot in the jaw area. He is currently listed to be in critical condition.
The second victim, Ardontae Taylor, age 29, also from Macon, was shot in the lower back. He is currently listed to be in stable condition.
This incident is currently under investigation. The two men are currently being treated for the injuries that they received. No further information is available at this time. Additional information will be released as soon as it becomes available.
