Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to an aggravated assault that took place at a home, located in the 2400 block of Recreation Road. The incident occurred just after 9:30 p.m, Saturday.
It was reported that Bibb County Sheriff’s patrol deputies responded to a call of shots fired in the area. When deputies arrived, they were advised that a 17-year-old female was struck by a bullet and was transported to the hospital by private vehicle for treatment. She is listed in stable condition.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are currently under investigation.
