The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault incident that happened on Williamson Road near Brad Walsh Parkway just after 4:30 p.m.
It was reported that a 23-year-old male was driving a Chevy Tahoe on Williamson Road when subjects in a Dodge Durango fired shots at the Tahoe. During the incident, the vehicle collided going off the road. The driver, a 24-year-old male, of the Durango, was transported to Atrium Health and is listed in stable condition at this time. The 25-year-old passenger of the Durango was treated on scene. No one else was injured in the incident. Investigators are looking into what led up to the shooting.
