The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault incident that happened in the parking lot of the Food Depot at 4015 Northside Drive, just after 9:00 p.m.
It was reported that there was an altercation in the parking lot of the Food Depot. During the altercation, a firearm was pulled, and a 33-year-old male was shot. He drove himself to the Kroger at 220 Tom Hill Sr. Boulevard. The male was then transported to the Atrium Health and is listed in critical condition at this time. No one else was injured in the incident. Investigators are looking into what lead up to the shooting.
