The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault incident that happened on June 9, 2023, in the 2700 block of Montpelier Avenue, just after 11:45 p.m.
It was reported that a 30-year-old male was standing in the parking lot of 2760 Montpelier Avenue when shots were fired. The victim was struck in the leg. He was transported to Atrium Health and is listed in stable condition at this time. No one else was injured in the incident. Investigators are looking into what lead up to the shooting.
