The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault incident that happened on Brentwood Avenue near Columbus Road just after 4:30 a.m.
It was reported that a 50-year-old male was walking on Brentwood Avenue when subjects in an SUV fired shots. The 50-year-old male was struck once. He was transported to Atrium Health and is listed in stable condition at this time. No one else was injured in the incident. Investigators are looking into what led up to the shooting.
