The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault that occurred on Knotts St. Lane just before 8:00p.m. Wednesday evening. It was reported that 27yr old Darrius Williams of Macon was on Knotts St. Lane when he was shot in the right leg two times. Williams went to a residence on Knott St where the home owner called 911. Williams was taken to the Navicent Health Hospital where he is listed in stable condition at this time.
It was reported by someone in the neighborhood that there were two or three black males that left the area in a red vehicle. No other information is available at this time. Williams is not being cooperative with investigators about the incident.
