The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault incident that was reported to have occurred at an unknown location on Napier Avenue at approximately 1:35 p.m.
A 27-year-old male was shot once in the chest. He was transported to the Navicent Health Medical Center and is listed in critical condition at this time. No one else was injured in the incident. There is no information on the suspect at this time. Investigators are unable to talk to the victim due to treatment for his injuries.
