The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault that occurred at 3901 Northside Drive, Arbor Apartments, just before 1:00am Monday. It was reported 19yr old Andrea Hawkins of Macon was on the balcony of her apartment when she was shot. It was reported that Hawkins and her roommates got into a verbal altercation. During this altercation an unknown male arrived and joined the altercation. The unknown male retrieved a long rifle from a vehicle and shot at Hawkins and her roommates standing on the balcony, striking Hawkins in the right leg. The suspect fled the scene in a gold in color vehicle. Hawkins was taken to the Navicent Health Medical Center and is listed in stable condition at this time. No one else was injured in the incident. No other information is available at this time.
