Bibb County Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies responded to 647 Paul Street just before 3:30AM this morning in reference to a report of a domestic disturbance. Deputies met with the female victim that lives at the apartment. It was reported by the victim, 45 year old Sonnya Bryson that her ex-husband broke into her apartment and confronted her and a male friend at the apartment. The suspect, 41 year old Terrance Bryson pointed a gun at Ms. Bryson. Mr. Bryson then pointed the gun at the male, 50 year old Robert Samples Jr. and shot at Samples. Samples and Mr. Bryson had both left the apartment before deputies arrived. Ms. Bryson also told deputies that Mr. Bryson fired a second shot at her as he was fleeing from the apartment.

 

While deputies were at the apartment a call was received of a person shot in the foot at 4314 Pionono Avenue. The victim at the store was Robert Samples Jr. Samples reported that he jumped into his vehicle after being shot by Mr. Bryson at the apartment, drove to the store on Pionono Avenue and called 911 for help. Samples was transported to the Medical Center Navicent Health by ambulance. Samples injury is non-life threatening and he is listed in stable condition.

 

This incident is currently under investigation.
