Bibb Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies responded to a call of a person shot just before 12:00 midnight Saturday night at the Green Meadows Apartment complex located at 3867 Log Cabin Drive. It was reported when deputies arrived they checked the apartment the incident was reported to have occurred but did not find anyone at the apartment. A few minutes later a female identified as Timia Holloway, approached and told deputies that she was at her apartment with her child and other adults in the apartment. It was reported that Holloway was having a party at her apartment. She stated she was putting her child to bed in the upstairs and heard some noise from downstairs. She went downstairs to see what was going on and saw one of the men in her apartment, who she said, had kicked her door in, arguing with one of the men who had been invited at the apartment. The man who she said kicked her door in was later identified as 24 year old William Davis Jr., of Macon. Davis was threatening to shoot the other man with a gun. Holloway went back upstairs to check on her child and said she heard some gunshots, but did not see who fired a gun.

 

Deputies found Davis a short distance from the apartment complex with a gunshot wound to his leg. He was transported to the Navicent Center to be treated for the gunshot wound. He is listed in stable condition. Investigators were on the scene interviewing any possible witnesses to verify the events of the incident and collect evidence.
