Bibb Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies responded to a call of a person shot on Log Cabin Drive at Mercer University Drive at around 1:00AM this morning. Deputies arrived on scene and were checking the area when they were notified that the victim had drove himself in to the Coliseum Northside Hospital.

 

It was reported by the victim, 39 year old Richard Pryor, of Macon that he had just left Sparks Wing Café located at 3761 Mercer University Drive. He stated he was sitting in his vehicle which was parked next to the pawn shop near Sparks when he heard gunshots. He stated and saw something come through his windshield. He was struck in the face. Pryor was transported from the Coliseum to the Navicent Center where he underwent surgery. It was reported that he was struck by a bullet fragment. He is listed in stable condition.
