Additional charges have been made on 25 year old Dontavius King during the ongoing investigation. Warrants were served on King this morning at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Complex for 2 counts of Hit and Run, 1 count of Reckless Driving, 1 count of Driving While License Suspended, 1 count of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, 1 count of Driving with no Insurance, 1 count of Open Container and 2 counts of the Child Safety Seat Law. He has a bond now of $34,851.00.

During the investigation it was reported that prior to King striking the church, he struck a vehicle on Eastview Avenue that was parked. The female driver was sitting in the vehicle when King struck it. The driver of the vehicle that was struck, Sheena Hogan, reported to deputies that she attempted to follow the vehicle but the vehicle was traveling too fast. She stated as she got to Norris Street and Cowan Street she that the vehicle had wrecked.
