Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators served arrest warrants for 19-year-old Christopher Bonner. The warrants are in connection with the murder and aggravated assault incident that occurred on December 21, 2020, at 3044 Bloomfield Drive.
Investigators and members of the U.S. Marshals Southeast Fugitive Task Force received a CrimeStoppers tip in reference to Bonner’s location. Bonner was taken into custody without incident, in the Macon Mall parking lot at 3661 Eisenhower Parkway.
After Bonner was interviewed by investigators, he was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center where he is being held, without bond, for the charges of Murder and Aggravated Assault.
Investigators are still seeking 15-year-old Malek Deshaun Bronner who is also wanted (charged as an adult) in connection to this homicide investigation.

Two Additional Arrests Made in Fatal Shooting Investigation
Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators had warrants issued for the arrests of 17-year-old Keymarion Javontae Manor and 15-year-old Naylan Jon’Tez Woodford, in connection to the murder and aggravated assault incident that occurred on December 21, 2020.
Investigators and members of the U.S. Marshals Southeast Fugitive Task Force located and arrested Manor & Woodford, without incident, at the Green Meadows Apartment Complex.
After Manor was interviewed by investigators, he was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center where he is being held, without bond, for the charges of Murder and Aggravated Assault.
Woodford was also interviewed by investigators and then transported to the Macon R.Y.D.C. , where he is being held, without bond, for the charges of Murder and Aggravated Assault.
Investigators are still seeking two individuals who are also wanted in connection to this homicide investigation, 19-year old Christopher Bonner and 21-year-old Malik Bonner. (No relation)

Arrests Made in Fatal Shooting Investigation
Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators arrested a 15-year-old juvenile and a 17-year old in connection to the fatal shooting and aggravated assault incident that occurred on December 21, 2020.
It was reported that Elijah Jones wanted to sell a handgun to some individuals on Scotland Avenue. Jones drove a Kia Sorento, with Tyrin Riggins as the passenger. While Jones and Riggins were sitting inside of the vehicle when several individuals approached. One of the individuals reached inside of the vehicle and attempted to take the handgun from Jones. As Jones tried to drive off, shots were fired into the vehicle, striking Jones in the upper torso and Riggins in the leg.
Riggins pulled Jones into the passenger seat and he moved into the driver’s seat and then drove the Kia to a friend’s home, located at the Sandy Springs Apartment complex, located at 3044 Bloomfield Road. The Macon-Bibb 911 Center received a call that a person was shot and deputies were dispatched to the apartment complex.
Once Bibb Sheriff’s Deputies and EMS arrived at the apartment complex, Riggins was transported to the Navicent hospital by ambulance and has since been released. Jones was pronounced deceased, by Coroners, while at the apartment complex.
Investigators identified one of the suspects, 15-year-old Micah Franklin. His Aunt took him to meet with investigators about the incident. Investigators interviewed Franklin and later charged him with Murder and Aggravated Assault. Franklin was then transported to the Macon RYDC, where he is being held, without bond. Investigators also charged a second suspect in connection to this incident, 17-year-old Jaquandre Burden. He was interviewed by investigators about the incident and then transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. He is currently being held in the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center, without bond, for the charge of Murder and Aggravated Assault.
Investigators are asking for the publics assistance in helping locate three other suspects in connection to this homicide investigation, 19-year-old Christopher Bonner, 17-year-old Keymarion Manor, and 16-year-old Naylan Jon’Tez Woodford. The juveniles in this case are being charged as adults.

Fatal Shooting Investigation
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting and aggravated assault that occurred Monday afternoon. The location of the actual incident and time that it occurred are still being investigated.
Bibb Sheriff’s patrol deputies were dispatched to the Sandy Springs apartments, located at 3044 Bloomfield Drive at 1:45 p.m., in reference to a person shot. According to witness statements, a black Kia Sorento pulled into the apartment complex and stopped in front of building “G”. The occupants of the vehicle were reported to have been shot. When deputies arrived at the scene, they found 17-year-old Tyrin Riggins, with a gunshot wound to the leg and 16-year-old Elijah Jones with a gunshot wound to the upper torso.
Riggins was transported to the Navicent for treatment, he is listed in stable condition. Jones was pronounced deceased at the scene. The next of kin has been notified by the Coroner’s Office.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation. Additional information will be released as soon as it becomes available.
