The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an accident with injuries that took place on Interstate 475, south bound, near mile maker one. The accident occurred at around 6:36p.m.
It was reported that a mustang convertible, driven by 37-year-old Chiriga Godfrey of Macon was traveling south on Interstate 475. Godfrey lost control of the vehicle after exiting a curve and went thru the guardrail, near the Tobosofkee Creek Bridge. The mustang went down an embankment and rolled several times.
Godfrey and a male passenger, were transported to the Navicent. Both are listed to be in stable condition at this time.
This accident is under investigation.
