The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault incident that occurred on 1211 Maynard Street, Rosa Jackson Center just before 9:30p.m. Sunday night. It was reported that 38yr old Jerlioundus Frederick Armstrong of Macon; was walking to his vehicle after attending the Annual Fort Hill Reunion when he was shot in the left side of his face. Witnesses reported hearing a shot and seeing Armstrong fall to the ground. Armstrong was taken to the local hospital and is listed in stable condition at this time. No one else was injured in the incident. There is no information on the suspect at this time.
