Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a Commercial Burglar Alarm activated at 3407 Napier Avenue, Dollar General, Thursday night October 27th , just before midnight. When deputies arrived two males were in the parking lot of the Middle Georgia Rescue Mission shaking a rectangular object that was discovered to be a cash register. As the deputies approached the males they ran. After a brief foot chase the two suspects surrendered. A third male involved was also caught near the store.

The video surveillance footage from the store was reviewed and all three suspects were seen in the video. The suspects took food and other items from the store after breaking the window of the business. All three suspects are juveniles. After deputies made contact with the Juvenile Intake Officer, the juveniles were issued a court date to be in juvenile court and were returned into the custody of the Georgia Industrial Children’s Home where they had run away from. The juveniles ranged in the age of 12 and 13.
